Works

I am Nipun Sharma and photography is a lifestyle for me. As a photographer my job is to contemplate, to rejuvinate thoughts, to refresh perspectives and to stir and evoke emotions in my audience.

Here on this page you can find some interesting stuff related to photography. Some experimental photographic setups Some behind the scene videos and demos of trick photography.Stay tuned and Stay Put.

Multiplicity

''Multiplicity Photography is the process of taking several photos of a human, animal, or object in different areas of the frame, and then combining them in Photoshop. In sports, this is known as Sequence Photography.'' You can do it all by yourself, without anyone's help. All you need is a sturdy Tripod, a remote trigger (the one in my hand :) , photoshop CS and of-course PATIENCE AND TIME..

Artificial Smoke

''Creating Artificial Smoke on the objects give them a sppoky look and gives articulation to an image. This can be done by using a thick thread suspended in the air along with a torch and taking long exposure of about 6 seconds. So from now now on your ice-cream could be SMOKING HOT as well.

Light Trails

Light Trails are a popular subject matter for many photographers and they can actually be a great training ground for those who want to get their cameras out of auto mode and to experiment with shooting in low light at longer exposures. Equipment Required:It is important to have a camera that allows you to have some control over exposure settings – particularly those that allow you to choose longer shutter speeds. This means you need a camera that has the ability to shoot in either full manual mode and/or shutter priority mode. You’ll also need a tripod as you’ll be shooting with long shutter speeds which will make shooting handheld pretty much impossible. Not essential but helpful to have with you are lens hoods (to help block lens flare from ambient lights), remote shutter release cables or wireless remote controls, patience and some cold water bottles in case you are out there in the "mid-summer night" :)

Wide Angle Photography

One of the most interesting features of wide-angle lens is "the capability to stretch perspective". What do I mean by that? I mean that when you look through a wide-angle lens, it seems that the distance between objects has extended. The objects that were not so distant could appear too far away. The photograph below is taken with a wide angle lens Tamron 10-24 mm lens at 10mm. The perspective of the image clearly shows that i wanted to cover the entire Church of England in the frame and much more. The key is the angle of frame and in wide angle photography 1° angle could change the entire story.

An Interesting " NOT SO "Long exposure

Long-exposure photography or time-exposure photography involves using a long-duration shutter speed to sharply capture the stationary elements of images while blurring, smearing, or obscuring the moving elements. When a scene includes both stationary and moving subjects (for example, a fixed street and moving cars or a camera within a car showing a fixed dashboard and moving scenery), a slow shutter speed can cause interesting effects, such as light trails. Long exposures are easiest to accomplish in low-light conditions, but can be done in brighter light using neutral density filters or specially designed cameras. Long-exposure photography is often used in a night-time setting in order to produce a near daytime effect in the photo. By leaving the camera's shutter open for an extended period of time, more light is absorbed, creating a brighter product. If the camera is stationary for the entire period of time that the shutter is open, a very vibrant and clear photograph can be produced.

An Interesting Long exposure example could be capturing the movement of minutes or seconds hand in a watch. This can be accomplished by using an ND filter because the subject may appear over-exposed for a shutter pressed for longer durations.Guess the shutter speed in the photograph below.
